The Chinese government has confirmed that the first batch of export quota for oil products will be a total of 28 mil tons in 2020, an increase of 30％ compared to the 21.5mil tons from last year's first batch of quota. The breakdown is 24.56mil tons for general trade and 3.44mil tons for processing trade.

PetroChina Co Ltd (PetroChina) has 8.4 mil tons for general trade and 800,000 tons for processing trade, China Petroleum & Chemical Corp (Sinopec) has 10.96 mil tons for general trade and 2.4 mil tons for processing trade, China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC) has 2.49 mil tons for general trade including 7,000 tons of natural gas, and 100,000 tons for processing trade, Sinochem Group (Sinochem) has 2.65mil tons for general trade including 2,000 tons of natural gas, and 140,000 tons for processing trade. However, the breakdown in terms of oil products for each company for general trade is not finalized.
