Chinese Ministry of Commerce approves third export quota of petroleum products for 2019

The Ministry of Commerce of China approved export quota of petroleum products for the third time in 2019. This approval is for a total of 6.00 mil mt for general trade and does not include the export quota for processing trade. The volume for general trade is 3.07 mil mt more than the 2.93 mil mt of the same period last year. The Chinese government has approved a total of 56.00 mil mt in three stages so far, which already surpassed the total volume of 48.00 mil mt for the whole of 2018 by 17%. China is increasing export of petroleum products since several new refineries started operations.
