On Oct 23, the fourth 300,000 ton crude oil terminal located in Rizhao Port, Shandong Province, was officially put into operation. It was reported that Yuan 820 mil were invested in the project, and the designed annual throughput capacity of the terminal is 18 mil tons.

Along with integrated reforms and development of Shandong ports in recent years, Rizhao Port has continuously expanded it痴 the development of its crude oil business and accelerated the construction of crude oil infrastructure. It was reported that after the fourth 300,000 ton crude oil terminal was put into operation, along with five long-distance crude oil pipelines and a storage capacity of over 17 mil cubic meters, Rizhao Port will become the largest crude oil distribution center in China in terms of annual throughput capacity.
