A fire broke out at a natural gas liquid plant operated by Energy Transfer in Mont Belvieu, Texas on Wednesday. Mont Belvieu was a major production base that fractionated crude oil and gas accumulated from all over the US. The fire , however, was small and a source in a LPG futures broker said, "The impact on LPG prices have yet to be seen". Further, a Japanese LPG importer did not receive any particular notices from US suppliers regarding LPG exports as of Thursday.
