According to PetroChina, as of Nov 11, Guangdong Petrochemical's ethylene production has exceeded 1.2 million tons.

　Its 1.2 million tons/year ethylene plant, which was put into operation in February 2023, is currently the largest ethylene plant in China and contributes significantly to the company's profits. As of now, its cumulative production of ethylene has exceeded 2.2 million tons.

　The Guangdong Petrochemical project is PetroChina's largest world-class project, with a total investment of Yuan 65.4 billion. It can process 20 million tons of crude oil, produce 1.2 million tons of ethylene products and 2.6 million tons of aromatic products every year.
