JERA to conduct maintenance at No.3 and No.4 units at its Sodegaura plant next week

JERA would start regular maintenance at the No.3 and 4 units (both 1,000 MW) at its Sodegaura LNG-burned power plants from next week. Under the plan, JERA would halt operations of the No.3 unit on Sep 17 and of the No.4 on Sep 16, respectively, and resume operation on Oct 31.

During the maintenance, JERA planned to inspect equipment related to electricity. The outage of large-size LNG-burned power units during scorching weather might affect the supply/demand balance in power next week.
