According to data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics, in August, the power generation was 936.3 billion kilowatt hours(kWh), an increase of 1.6% compared to last year.
Among them, thermal power generation increased by 1.7% compared to last year; Hydraulic power decreased by 10.1%; Nuclear power increased by 5.9%; Wind power increased by 20.2%; Solar power generation increased by 15.9%.
From January to August, China's power generation reached 6.42 trillion kWh, up 1.5% compared to the same period last year.
