KEPCO restarts No.4 unit at Takahama nuke power station on Nov 13

Kansai Electric Power Co (KEPCO) announced on Nov 13 that it had fully reactivated the 870 MW No. 4 unit (pressurized water reactor = PWR) at its Takahama nuclear power station, located in Takahama Town, Fukui Prefecture, at 17:10 on the same day. Starting from Jun 18, the unit had been so far under maintenance, where KEPCO investigated major parts of the unit, including the nuclear reactor, storage facilities of nuclear fuel materials, and reactor cooling systems.
