No. 4 unit at KEPCO's Ohi nuke power station to enter maintenance on Mar 4

Kansai Electric Power Co (KEPCO) starts maintenance at the 1180 MW No. 4 unit (pressurized water reactor = PWR) at its Ohi nuclear power station, located in Ohi Town in Fukui Prefecture, on Mar 4. During maintenance, KEPCO plans to conduct the eddy current testing for the steam generator tubes, along with preservation measure for secondary system piping. The end of maintenance was scheduled in late June; KEPCO plans neither replacement nor improvement of major equipment nor the primary piping during the maintenance.
