TEPCO Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Unit 6 Enters Final Integrated Load Performance Inspection

It was confirmed that TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings)'s Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant Unit 6 (with a rated capacity of 1,356 MW, an ABWR type, located in Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture) entered the final phase of its integrated load performance inspection at 17:00 JST on Apr 15. The inspection is scheduled to be conducted until 17:00 JST on Apr 16. Following this, the Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) will confirm the inspection results. If there are no issues with the inspection results, a pre-use inspection certificate will be issued by the NRA, and commercial operation is scheduled to commence.
