The Japan domestic naphtha price was forecast at Yen 63,500/kl for the quarter July to September, up Yen 400/kl from the previous week. In trade statistics published by the Ministry of Finance in the second half of last week, import price in August was slightly higher than RIM's expectations. For the quarter October to December, the price was forecast at Yen 75,800/kl, down Yen 400/kl as CFR Japan naphtha prices softened.
