The 25th Offshore Asia Pacific Summit & Exhibition plus FPS Malaysia (OAP2025) organized by CDMC (China Decision Makers Consultancy) were held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Feb 24-25, bringing together over 350 participants. Throughout the event, industry leaders exchanged insights on key topics such as decarbonization, digitalization, and operational efficiency under the theme, "Collaboration for the Future: Accelerating Transformation in Offshore Exploration, Development, and Floating Production Systems across the Asia-Pacific". According to CDMC, "Amid mounting pressures from the global energy transition and rising regional energy demands, the sector emphasized the urgent need for technological innovation and international collaboration to achieve sustainable growth." Looking ahead, CDMC is set to host another major energy summit, "The Offshore Engineering & Equipment Global Exhibition (OEEG)", in Shanghai from October 15-17. This event is expected to attract professionals involved in offshore engineering. CDMC stated, "The event will spotlight pioneering technologies, innovative ideas, and partnership opportunities to propel the industry to new heights."
