The Ministry of Finance of China announced on Apr 4 that as a retaliatory measure against tariffs imposed by the US, all imports from the US would be subjected to an additional tariff of 34% from Apr 10. While there was no change to the current exemption policy, the additional tariff imposed this time would not be exempted. The additional tariff would not be applied to products loaded from the US before 0:01 on Apr 10 and imported by 24:00 on May 13.
