Singapore bunker sales in Jul increase by 1.3% on month

Maritime Port Authority Singapore (MPA) announced that the estimated marine fuel oil sales volume in July in the country was at 4.73 mil mt, down 186,120mt (3.8%) on year, but up 62,800mt (1.3%) on month. Sales volumes of MFO (high sulfur fuel oil) were at 1.95 mil mt, down by 3,860mt on year, and down by 88,990mt on month. Those of LSFO were at 2.33 mil mt, down by 45,080mt on year, but up by 130,040mt on month. Those of LSMGO were at 358,900mt, down by 57,170mt on year, but up by 15,640mt on month. Those of Bio-blended LSFO were at 29,900mt, down by 50,530mt on year, and down by 800mt on month. MFO accounted for 41.12% of all sales volumes of bunker fuels, while the proportion of the new fuels including Bio-diesel, LNG, methanol and so on was 2.08%. The average price for VLSFO in July was at $772.67/mt, sharply up by $49.76/mt from $722.91/mt in June, according to a survey conducted by Rim Intelligence. |
