According to data released by Japan Petrochemical Industry Association, production of ethylene in February was at 407,800mt, down 9.0% on year and down 12.5% on month. Compared to February 2024, operation rates were lower. Compared to January 2025, the number of days was also smaller. Operation rates of ethylene facilities that were in operation in February were at 76.0%, down 4.7points on year and down 4.6points on month. Turnaround of ethylene facilities was not conducted in February, January and February 2024.
