According to data released by Japan Petrochemical Industry Association on Nov 20, production of ethylene in October was at 442,300mt, up 9.1% from the same month last year as fewer facilities underwent turnaround. Compared to the previous month, production increased by 5.1% since the number of days was more. In October 2024, one company's one ethylene facility underwent turnaround. In September and October 2025, no turnaround took place. Operation rates of ethylene facilities that were in operation in September were at 76.2%.
