According to data released by Japan Petrochemical Industry Association on Dec 18, production of ethylene in November was at 449,500mt, up 4.9% from the same month last year as no ethylene facilities underwent turnaround in this month. Compared to the previous month, production decreased by 0.6% since the number of days was less than the previous month. In November 2024, one company's one ethylene facility underwent turnaround. In October and November 2025, no turnaround took place. Operation rates of ethylene facilities that were in operation in November were at 78.2%, up 0.6 points from the same month last year and up 2.0 points from the previous month.
