Ethylene facilities entered turnaround one after another while operation adjustment also took place due to restriction of feedstock supply along with the worsening situation in the Middle East. In March 2026, four companies' four ethylene facilities underwent turnaround. In February 2026, two companies' two ethylene facilities underwent turnaround. In March 2025, no ethylene facilities underwent turnaround. Operation rates of ethylene facilities that were in operation in March 2026 were at 68.6%, down 6.5points year-on-year or down 7.1points month-on-month.
