Middle East Crude

In trade for June-loading Iraqi grades, Indonesia's state-owned Pertamina awarded a Basrah Medium(BM) sell tender to France's Total Energies at premiums of $0.70-1.00 to the OSP. Through the tender, Pertamina was trying to sell 1mil barrels of June-loading BM. In trade for July-loading Oman, Taiwan's Formosa Petrochemical Corp(FPCC) seemed to have bought 2mil barrels of Oman via a tender. Briton's Shell apparently sold spot cargoes to FPCC at the price linked to Dubai quotes.

African/European/Russian/American Crude

In trade for CFR Northeast Asia market of US WTI, Korea's GS Caltex purchased additional 2.0 million barrels of WTI and WTI Light (WTL) for August arrival. This appeared to be GS's third VLCC purchase for US grades as August arrival. The price details were unknown but the tradable levels for WTI have weaken to premiums of low $4.00s to Dubai quotes on a CFR basis. In the trade of African grades, Senning under the umbrella of China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC) sold two cargoes of Niger's Meleck crude on the spot market. The buyers were said to be British Shell and European Vitol. The prices were said to be at discounts of the $2.00s to $3.00s level to Dated Brent. The above buyers were believed to have procured for refining purpose.　

Asia Pacific Crude

In tender-related news, Indonesia's state-owned Pertamina awarded a condensate buy tender for July to August arrival to the country's petrochemical firm TPPI. Pertamina bought two cargoes via the tender although Pertamna refrained from commenting on details such as the winners. Pertamina seemed to have procured two cargoes of July-loading NWSC via the tender. In trade for Australian grades, France's Total Energies awarded an Ichthys condensate sell tender to SK Energy at discounts in the $2's to the $3's to Dated Brent on a CFR basis.
