Crude/Condensate: Nov 4-8: Two cargoes of Jan NWSC avail
Middle East Crude In trade for Qatari condensates, Qatar Energy (QE) concluded term negotiations for 2025. QE seemed to have agreed with its existing customers that QE would supply the same volumes of D.F.C. and L.S.C. in 2025 as those in 2024. In regard with term prices for 2025, QE reviews contract prices every quarter and notifies the prices of its term customers. One trader noted that contractors could not receive term cargoes unless they accepted prices that QE showed every quarter. In trade for January-loading Dubai, Malaysia's state-owned Petronas bought 500,000barrles from US Occidental Petroleum. The price was said to have been at small discounts to the OSP. Occidental Petroleum received 500,000barrles of January-loading Dubai from The Dubai Department of Petroleum Affairs (DPA).
African/European/Russian/American Crude In trade for Angolan grades, United Petroleum & Chemicals Co (UNIPEC) this week purchased December-loading Hungo from British BP. The major's initial offer for the Hungo was at a discount of $1.70 to Dated Brent but the deal was eventually traded at a discount of $2.80 to Dated Brent. Meanwhile, European Glencore purchased December-loading Nemba from French Total Energies at a discount of $1.50 to Dated Brent. Furthermore, Angolan producer Sonangol sold December-loading Dalia on the spot market, but the details were unknown.
Asia Pacific Crude In trade for January-loading Australian condensates, a supply program of NWSC was settled and two cargoes would be supplied. Of these, Briton's BP held one cargo for Jan 13-17 loading and Australia's Woodside handled one cargo for Jan 27-31 loading. Apart from that, a supply program of Wheatstone was released. Woodside had one cargo for first-half January loading and US Chevron had one cargo for second-half January loading. In trade for January-loading Australian grades, a supply program of Ichthys was released and three cargoes would be supplied. Of these, INPEX held two cargoes for Dec 28-Jan 1 loading and Jan 19-23 loading while France's Total Energies handled one cargo for Jan 7-11 loading.
