Crude/Condensate: Jul 14-18: TIS opens sell tender
In the trade of September-loading Al Shaheen, some end-users moved to buy spot cargoes at the same time of a sell tender by state-owned Qatar Energy (QE). Those end-users aimed to finish procurements before spot cargoes were cleared from the market. Idemisu Kosan in Japan this week purchased at least two cargoes of Al Shaheen at prices linked to Dubai quotes. The details were sketchy but French Total and Europea Glencore sold one cargo each. QE earlier allocated September 4-5 loading Al Shaheen to Glencore, 10-11 and 12-13 loading to French TotalEnergies. Both companies could have resold some of these cargoes to Idemitsu Kosan.
