|
Middle East Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) sold Upper Zakum to a wide range of end-users in a sell tender for December-loading and December-January arrival Abu Dhabi grades, which closed on Sep 28. Taiwan's CPC, British Shell, South Korea's SK Energy, India's HPCL-Mittal Energy (HMEL), Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) and PetroChina purchased the crude. Prices were heard at a flat to premiums in the $4's level to Dubai quotes on a Ship to Ship (STS) transfer off Fujairah. In the tender, ADNOC also sold Das. India's Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), along with Japan's ENEOS, Idemitsu Kosan, Cosmo Oil and GS Caltex were said to have purchased the grade. Prices were seen at premiums of $5-6 to Dubai quotes on an STS basis off Fujairah.
Africa/Europe/Russia/America In trade for US crude for January 2027 arrival, one cargo was traded into Japan. ENEOS purchased WTI Midland for Jan 1-10 arrival. The seller was China International United Petroleum & Chemicals (UNIPEC) and the price was at a premium of $29 to ICE Brent. Meanwhile, it was widely believed that Japanese refiners such as ENEOS, Idemitsu Kosan and Cosmo Oil might prioritize purchases of Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabian crude and curb purchases of WTI Midland for January arrival.
Asia Pacific In trade for November-loading Malaysian crude, Shell has sold one Kimanis cargo for November 25-29 loading on a spot basis. The deal price was heard at a premium of around $5.00 to the OSP benchmark. Hengyi Petrochemical is believed to be the buyer.
